Tribeca Adolescent & Young Adult Medicine

New York City Concierge Medical Practice

Dedicated Exclusively To Ages 10-35

What is Adolescent & Young Adult Medicine?

Adolescence and young adulthood are complicated – for both patients and their parents. You deserve a specialized doctor who understands you.

Adolescent and young adult bodies change drastically at a rapid rate that can be extremely confusing for patients, and equally as intimidating to parents. In addition, this complicated stage of life can feel like an emotional rollercoaster. Dr. Fridy has specialized expertise in the medical management of the adolescent and young-adult age group. Already a board certified pediatrician, Dr. Fridy completed 3 additional years of fellowship training to become one of fewer than 750 board certified Adolescent Medicine physicians in the country.

Dr. Fridy brings warmth, patience and a nonjudgmental attitude to her experience treating the physical and mental health of adolescents and young adults, ages 10-35.

Dr. Fridy brings warmth, patience, relatability, and a nonjudgmental attitude to her experience treating the physical and mental health of her patients. Her expertise focuses on:

  • Puberty, growth and development
  • Body weight issues and eating disorders
  • Sexual and reproductive health, including gynecology
  • Mental health of adolescents and young adults
  • Chronic and acute medical conditions that occur in this complex age group

Dr. Fridy also collaborates closely with an extensive network of top-tier physician specialists, mental health providers, and allied health professionals to optimally provide her patients with the thorough, personalized medical care they need and deserve.

Practice Philosophy

Dr. Fridy will give you the time you need whenever you need it.

Tribeca Adolescent & Young Adult Medicine aims to be a practice where each patient feels safe, respected, heard and understood – all the while receiving individualized, state-of-the-art medical care. Dr. Fridy understands that adolescents and young adults may feel too old for a pediatrician’s office, but not quite comfortable at an adult internal medicine practice. This is exactly why Dr. Fridy founded Tribeca Adolescent & Young Adult Medicine – a practice dedicated exclusively to adolescents and young adults, ages 10-35. As a concierge physician, Dr. Fridy limits her patient volume, which in turn allows her to provide patients with around-the-clock comprehensive care and attention in a rush-free setting. Tribeca Adolescent & Young Adult Medicine is nothing like an impersonal, overburdened clinic – it’s your medical home.
